Dr. Giulio A. Cavallo, Chairman of the Westchester Independence Party publicly endorsed D.K. Jones for President of the Westchester County Correction Officer Benevolent Association.
“Mr. Jones has defended law enforcement all across the nation. He will be an asset to COBA's leadership and he has the respect not only of law enforcement but by various elected officials”, said Dr. Cavallo.
This is the first time in the history of union politics in Westchester that a political party chairman has publicly endorsed a candidate for the position of law enforcement union president.
